Please read the following terms and conditions before booking with us at Skye Cruises.


The following definitions apply in all cases:

• “Terms” means these Terms of Business;
• “us”, “we”, or “our” means Skye Cruises Limited, a company registered in Scotland with company registration No. 340667;
• “you” or “your” means our client or clients;
• “Booking” means the agreement between us and you;

We assume the right to change or update any of the terms and conditions listed below as required. Any changes will be updated to the Skye Cruises website and enforced thereafter.

Safety and Wellbeing

Passengers must take care when boarding the Radiant Queen. Assistance if offered to every passenger when stepping aboard but please contact us if this is a concern for you. Whilst aboard, passengers must also take care when walking around or taking photos.

Please note that in order to access the toilet on the lower deck passengers must be able to ascend and descend a ladder.

Your health and wellbeing is our highest priority at Skye Cruises. If you have a medical condition, mobility problem or a disability which may affect your time onboard, please contact us prior to booking to discuss how we might cater to your needs. This also includes sea/motion sickness as we can advise you on an up to date forecast and local sea state predictions.

Booking procedure

Online bookings must be completed 24 hours prior to cruise or private charter departure. Other methods of booking (telephone, email) are available to you.

If the booking is within the 24 hour minimum notice period please contact us by telephone.

Private charter booking enquiries must be made by email with 24 hours notice.


We most certainly welcome children onboard the Radiant Queen but please contact us prior to booking online as our infant and child safety equipment is limited in stock and subject to availability.

We also allow dogs but telephone booking is required.

Behaviour onboard

Your behaviour and actions onboard will affect those around you so we ask you to act responsibly and with due consideration for others around you. It is important that children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

If you drink alcohol, please do so responsibly and respect the decision of the crew if they ask you to moderate or refrain from drinking.

Price and payment

All payments must be completed before departure.

Cancellation and variation

Due to Skye’s sometimes unpredictable weather, we are on occasion forced to cancel our cruises. In the event of adverse weather, we aim to inform all passengers of cancelations within 12 hours of scheduled departure time. Our ability to keep you informed and up to date however relies heavily on the quality and reliability of the contact details supplied. Please note that mobile phone reception is limited on the island and therefor the supply of accommodation details are also highly recommended if you are visiting the island for your holiday.

If you decide to cancel your booking, you must inform us by telephone or email. A 72 hour minimum notice period is required. If you transmit a written notice then you must follow up via telephone to check that the message has been received.

In the event of a cancelation, payments will be refunded within 24 hours of verbal agreement.

The skipper shall have ultimate responsibility for the safety of the passengers and withholds the right to cancel any cruise on short notice. In the event of this, an alternative booking or full refund will be offered.

We recommend all passengers wear sturdy shoes and to also bring a warm jacket, Binoculars and a camera are also a must if you have such luxuries in your life.
